Our strategy is executed through the vehicle Project Transformer.

 It encompasses a range of activities, such as implementing a new core banking system, introducing new banking products, updating existing and new processes, new branding for the bank and upgrading our existing branches.

Our Project Transformer implementation plan has three key phases which are.

• Phase 1a Staff Launch
• Phase 1b Existing Customer Launch
• Phase 2 Lending Products Launch
• Phase 3 Foreign Exchange products and EFTPOS

You should have gotten your card upon account opening. Once you have registered for Internet Banking you can go online and activate your card and create the PIN.

Once you have registered for Internet Banking:

1. Log into your Internet Banking Account
2. On the Menu select Cards
3. Click Quick Actions
4. Select Set/Change PIN
5. Create your 4 digit PIN
6. Enter one time password (OTP) sent through to your mobile number, email address or WhatsApp number
7. A success message will appear

A Term Deposit Account is an interest-bearing account in which money is placed on Deposit for a specified length of time (Term).

The account earns interest specified at the time of account opening. All interest accrued in the account also earns interest. This is called compounded interest.

You can use your CreditBank PNG Visa Debit card anywhere Visa is accepted. Present your card at the time of payment. The merchant will give you a receipt to sign, and the amount of the purchase will automatically be deducted from your Transaction Account.

You get free ATM access at other banks’ ATMs throughout PNG.

You can log into Internet Banking and stop your debit card, or you can call our Contact Centre on +675 308 5500.

An account ideal for staff who are planning to maintain higher balances, maximise earnings and earn interest. Free transfers make it easy to start saving for your goals. You can open one online as well. (See full Features and Benefits in the Welcome Brochure).

A staff member who opens a Transaction Account, uses our banking system and reports on their experience.

Go to one of our branches and open Staff Transaction and Term Deposit Accounts if you have not already done so.

 You will need to bring the following documents to verify your identity:

• Employee photographic ID, and
• Employee confirmation letter

Or, the following documents

• Valid passport or valid driver’s license, and
• Proof of address (copy of lease agreement or employee confirmation letter)

A Customer Service Officer (CSO) will proceed to open a Staff Transaction Account and provide you with your Customer Identification Number and Account Number.

The CSO will ask you to nominate your Transaction Account as your primary salary account.

Note: Salary will not be directly deposited until January 2024.

The CSO will proceed with issuing you a Visa Debit card, and will open a Term Deposit Account for you.

Then you can proceed to self-register for Internet Banking.

CreditBank PNG internet banking will give you 24/7 access to your account.

When we launch, you will be able to bank online from a computer, tablet or smartphone.

• Click on any of the Internet Banking buttons on this page
• On the Internet Banking homepage click on Self Register
• Enter your Customer Identification Number or Account number and date of birth
• Tick the Terms and Conditions box to confirm you agree with the Terms and Conditions
• Create Username and Password
• A one time password (OTP) will be sent through to your mobile number, email address or WhatsApp number
• Enter the OTP to confirm your new log in credentials
• Once registration is confirmed you can log in with your new Username and Password
• Once you have registered for Internet Banking, you can go in and activate your Visa Debit card and create a new PIN

Please complete a series of savings and payment activities beginning with these:

• Transfer funds between your CreditBank PNG accounts
• Transfer funds to other CreditBank PNG accounts
• Transfer funds to other banks’ accounts
• Create Visa Debit card PIN and activate your card
• Use your CreditBank PNG Debit Visa card to make purchases instore and online
• Use your CreditBank PNG Visa Debit card to withdraw cash from any ATM in PNG and overseas
